I work from my home in Bradford on Avon with people from many different cultures and backgrounds.
I also work in Bristol with Trauma Foundation South West (tfsw) and in Bath as a member of the training staff at Bath Centre of Psychotherapy and Counselling (bcpc). I am a UKCP registered supervisor working with experienced psychotherapists, counsellors and therapists in training.
Experience and Qualifications
I began working as a psychotherapist and counsellor in 2006 - NHS placement and private practice.
In 2010 I joined tfsw - working with asylum seekers and refugees as a psychotherapist, counsellor, supervisor, assessment manager and group facilitator.
UKCP accredited Integrative Psychotherapy training with Bath Centre of Psychotherapy and Counselling - Humanistic and Psychodynamic theory and practice are combined within a Relational understanding of human development and needs. In my MA research project 'Listening to Silence', I explored the ways by which historical trauma can be unconsciously transmitted to future generations.

Psychotherapists are required to be in their own therapy throughout training, attend regular CPD events and have ongoing supervision. All my work is confidential, including email, phone enquiries and initial meetings. I adhere to the codes of conduct and ethical practice of bcpc & UKCP - which include a commitment to my ongoing personal development and learning.
