I started working as a trainee psychotherapist in 2006 - NHS and private practice. In 2010 I joined tfsw Trauma Foundation South West - For those who have suffered torture, oppression and war.
The bcpc MA Psychotherapy training, is a professional UKCP accredited training, validated by Middlesex University. Humanistic and Psychoanalytical theory and practice are combined within a Relational understanding of human development and needs.
Psychotherapists are required to be in their own therapy throughout training, attend regular CPD events and have supervision for all their work. I have professional insurance and adhere to the codes of conduct and ethics of UKCP & bcpc - which include a commitment to my ongoing personal development and learning.
